The main thing you want to happen to be successful is your lock needs to be really good at keeping dots up at all times. The more pressure that a warlock will be able to put out will make a specific RLS better by a LOT, just based on the warlock never letting dots fall and being on point with his fears. The rogue timing his burst with the warlocks burst is also key. You want your burst to be unstoppable and synchronized so that maybe the rogue will use cloak offensively at this time and the warlock will use his offensives as well.
The more offensive the better. The shaman should also be able to keep you up while at the same time saving a lot of his major cooldowns. Not one class will ever carry the whole team but if the classes do their specific jobs well, you'll be a great team.
Practice makes perfect, since you said you are all veteran players to the game it shouldn't take you long to figure out what strategies are good against certain comps and execute them efficiently. Its a really setup based comp, basically sap into blind opener and look for good coils and fears when that happens so your lock can get bolts off.
Your rsham needs to look for hexes on the other healer too to generate pressure. Dont be afraid to make swaps. Essentially the comp I am currently running is RLS and it seems that we are having some difficulty getting even passed I know that individual skills plays a part and that my two teammates don't really have an aptitude for arena yet so I am trying to let them know about positioning, macros, which targets to cc and to swap on etc. Also we are undergeared I understand but I don't let that be an excuse at the moment since gear I believe gear will become a greater advantage if we get good playing undergeared of course we are trying to gear up though lol.
Any general 3v3 starting tips to that I can pass along to my teammates or general leading tips such as who are kill targets, who are cc targets and who to interrupt would be greatly appreciated. My problem is I don't know the general play-style of RLS. So question is that the same for RLS right now or should we be really aggressive with cooldowns and opt for a quick gib bloodlust, spam dots on kill target and cced target and blind one early etc?
Thanks in advance and any tips and tricks would really be helpful. Last edited by Mactan; at PM. Few of them are the healer's perspective, but there are a lot from both the Rogue's and the Warlock's perspective.
