The front desk staff was wonderful and friendly. The breakfast options were varied and plentiful, and the female attendant who made coffees and worked mornings was fantastic!

First and foremost, contrary to other reviewers or descriptions, this hotel is not city center by my standards. The main tourist attractions were roughly minutes each way on foot. Secondly, the gentleman who served dinner at the restaurant was very cold and unfriendly.
The only such incident of an off staff member. The owner was a pleasant man to speak with and meet as well. First of all, the hotel is okay, but it is very small. Looking at the photo of the doorway, it looks like a square.
As a result, a small road comes in, and there is a small round entrance. There is nothing near the hotel. The rooms are quite big, but they are very bad to see, they are all iron stairs, and the vision is not good. There is a sauna, but the facilities are more general. Novum Aparthotel. This property is quite new. Even heavy work construction is ongoing outside. Maybe not fully equipped but minimum to be accomodated is done. Car is required in order to distance. Consider traffic jams for your movement. YMY Boutique Residence. Everything was great : The staff was very friendly, everything is brand new, stylish and clean.
I chose this because of the location, which is very central, an area with lots of cafes and restaurants, so plenty to do after I finish my meetings.
I travel a lot and I tend to switch between hotels and high-end airbnb apartments and I can say that the rooms are superior to what I've had at big chain hotels like DoubleTree Leeds or Marriott Warsaw or Corinthia Prague for example.
Very comfortable beds, the pillows were amazing. It was great value for money, I will definitely stay there whenever in Bucharest. Upground Residence Apartments. The house is very large, the two bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, but now there are construction sites around, the noise is loud, the traffic jams, and it is inconvenient to go around.
Union Plaza. Besides this fact, the staff was very kind and helpful, they even got involved helping me with the transport, they called for a secured cab and it was all great.
I know Romania for quite long because I settled here with my business and I could say that this hotel provides all you need for a place to stay including their great Skybar. They also have great services and I totally recommend it to you. I really enjoyed my 2 night stay here. Very good hotel in a nice location, good food, service and comfortable room.
The hotel is located a little way out of the centre in sector 1. But thats a real benefit, its quieter, more interesting and has good access to the metro and uber in any case. I paid 40leu each way for the taxi to the airport. There are plenty around. The area near the hotel hosts embassies and quiet boulevards. If you want somewhere to stroll out of the heat, and smell the lime trees and roses and admire the architecture you are in the right place. If you want to get to the Old Town, its a minute walk, quicker on the metro.
Plenty of bistros, cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel itself is a boutique, has reception manned 24 hours, lifts that work and nothing is too much trouble. Aircon works even when you are out so the room is nicely chilled when you get back in. Good sized room with windows on 3 sides, quiet day and night, everything works, clean and tidy and a comfortable bed.
Bathroom could me a little more practical, big basin but you cant actually put anything on it. Good shower. Breakfast was excellent, good buffet, eggs cooked to order and everything comes quickly. Staff were friendly, helpful and smiling which made this a hotel where you were welcomed, and felt you could ask for anything. Overall a good hotel with personality.
I'd certainly stay here again; a much nicer experience than the big brand hotels down the road. Central Guesthouse Bucharest - Adults Only.
